A New Week is a New Start!!
Monday's are a MUST...Missing a Monday workout for me is a non-negotiable. I tend to work out earlier in the morning too...this really helps get my mind in the right place. I have just started Body Beast a week ago, this is week 2 and it is TOUGH!!! Legs have always been an issue for me, so this is important for me to get an extremely good leg day in. Sunday Funday
My Sunday's are often used as an active recovery day, BUT that doesn't necessarily mean to just lay on the couch and not do anything...I either incorporate Yoga or Pilates on my active recovery days. However, this Sunday I felt the urge to crank it up a little...I did splurge on Sushi, a glass of wine and a delicous chocolate dessert last night. So, I did Body Beast (a BeachBody program focused on weight lift training) Chest/Tris and 21 Day Fix Extreme, Plyo workout...I also did 10 mins abs. My 10 min abs have been renamed by my Challenge Group as, Annette's Ab Remix...I will share my ab workout in an upcoming blog post!!
